Problem

The company lacked a centralized system to monitor financial performance, earned value metrics (PV, AC, BAC), schedule delays, and phase completion across multiple large-scale projects. Reporting was manual, fragmented, and slow, making it difficult for executives to detect delays or cost overruns early.

Solution

Designed a multi-page Power BI solution integrating earned value management (EVM) metrics, SPI tracking, cost vs plan analysis, and phase-based completion KPIs. Built an interactive homepage summarizing critical KPIs with drill-through navigation to Superstructure and Infrastructure reports. Implemented dynamic slicers for year/month and project-level filtering.

Impact

Enabled leadership to monitor project health in real time, identify schedule slippage early, track cost performance index trends, and compare multiple projects simultaneously. Reduced manual reporting effort and improved decision-making speed at executive level.
