Problem

A property management company was tracking utility costs (electricity, gas, water, sewer, sanitation) across multiple facilities, accounts, vendors, and meters. Data was fragmented, difficult to compare year-over-year, and not engaging for executive review. Leadership wanted a centralized dashboard that was analytical, interactive, and intuitive — allowing seamless exploration of costs while switching between summary and detailed views effortlessly.

Solution

We designed a highly interactive Power BI platform with a visually engaging navigation experience. The report used animated GIF-based navigation buttons, hover effects, and dynamic slicers to create a modern, app-like interface. Users can drill down by service type, cost category, provider, meter, and date while seamlessly switching between visuals and tabular breakdowns. Custom filter panels allow advanced analysis without cluttering the main view. Year-over-year comparisons, cost type segmentation, and consumption trend analytics were integrated into a structured KPI layout.
